Hedda Gabler is the masterwork by Norwegian playwright, Henrik Ibsen.
Hedda is deeply dissatisfied; she is trapped in a marriage and a pregnancy she does not want. A trapped Hedda is a dangerous Hedda – to pass the time, she plays puppet-master and manipulates everyone around her. Unfortunately for Hedda, her manipulation has explosive consequences for everyone in her inner circle. The Playhouse 615 production is a world premiere and contemporary adaptation by E. G. Bailey and co-production with Little Thistle Theatre Company.
