As part of the Jazz on the Move series at the Frist, presented by the Nashville Jazz Workshop, Don Aliquo will present a lecture and performance featuring the music of Stan Getz, one of the all-time great jazz saxophonists. Getz was a prolific recording artist, having produced over 150 albums during his career spanning four decades. Getz was also one of the leading proponents of Bossa Nova music as it was gaining popularity in the States in the 60's.
