Chatterbird to Perform Improvisational Concert Using Footage from Nashville Metro Archives
Chatterbird, a Nashville-based chamber ensemble, has announced further details for their next performance, Historic Nashville: A Celebration in Music and Film. The concert is free and open to the public and will take place June 21 at Nashville Public Library’s downtown location (615 Church Street). Additional info can be found here. Chatterbird and Metro Archives Audiovisual Conservation Center have partnered once again to present a new live performance combining music and archival film footage. Working alongside Metro Archives Staff, chatterbird selected unseen and endangered footage from the collection for preservation, including film from the James Kilgore and Thomas Mayhew Collections.Read More
