Coming to WEHO!
Together We, A Celebration of Abundance at RADAR615 on 4/26
On April 4th and 26th, Nashville local artists headed by Molly Barth (Associate Professor of Flute at Vanderbilt Blair School of Music) will join together to create “Together We, A Celebration of Abundance.” This
unique event will benefit The Store, a food aid service that offers customers with a choice-based shopping experience and support for anyone facing food insecurity. “Together We” is designed around abundance, Barth states that “to celebrate the abundance present in each of our lives at this point in time is essential to uplifting our community. We will have abundance if we enable it, abundance of love, caring, compassion and creativity.” The many talented visual artists being showcased, food and beverage vendors, musicians, poets and people attending this event show how true collaboration can represent abundance in a very special way. Monetary and food donations will be encouraged, because the hope of this organization is to show that if everyone gives abundantly, there will always be enough. Guests are encouraged to and may bring:
-Idahoan Mashed Potatoes (4 oz, any flavor)
-Knoor Rice or Pasta Sides (5.6-5.7 oz, any flavor)
-Rice-a-roni (6.5-7 oz, any flavor)
-Saltine Crackers (16 oz, boxed)
-Sald dressing (12-20 oz, any type)
-Dish Soap (10-20 oz)
-Baby Wipes (Individual pack, no refill packs)
-Glade air freshener (8 oz)
In addition to food and monetary donations, Barth, along with the local artists participating in this event, have created a digital archive in which visitors can record their own and read testimonies of what abundance means to them and other people around the community. Molly Barth, Rod McGaha, Ciona Rouse, Dashon Burton, Lain York, Kaitlyn Raitz, Keshia Hay, Minton Sparks, LeXander Bryant, and Phillip Patti are the creatives behind this event and their talents are sure to inspire all attendees of this exhibition. Event organizers state “Too many of our neighbors live in systems based on scarcity. This exhibition is rooted in the belief that communities thrive when we choose abundance.” In a time filled with so much scarcity, celebrating abundance through music, art and generosity is exactly what the world needs. Don’t miss this exhibition coming up at RADAR615 on April 26th, 2026!

That sounds like a lovely event supporting a great cause. I really admire Molly Barth’s work with the flute program at Vanderbilt.
