Broadway’s Suffs
It’s almost America’s 250th birthday, and the Tony Award-winning musical Suffs is on tour! Suffs is about suffragists: brilliant, passionate, and funny American women who fought tirelessly for the right to vote (particularly apt for us to see the show here in Nashville, the site of the final vote on the 19th Amendment).
Suffs won the 2024 Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score, both written by Shaina Taub.This new musical boldly explores the triumphs and failures of a struggle for equality that’s far from over. Suffs will be at TPAC’s Jackson Hall March 3-8. See here for tickets and more information.
