Coming Soon: Death Drop!
Woven Theatre Company, known for their acclaimed productions The Naughty Tree and Christmas Carol Circuit Party, returns with Death Drop! A Drag Murder Mystery. In partnership with Play Dance Bar, this lively, interactive show combines the glitz of drag performances with the intrigue of a classic whodunit. The show unfolds during the “Miss Evening Delight Serve Off,” where four queens battle through lip-syncs and show-stopping performances for the title. But their battle for the crown takes a deadly turn when the lights go out and one contestant meets an untimely end.
The cast features drag superstars Vanity, Perplexity, Story, and Virginia Tea, joined by local favorites Blake Holliday, Christina Ashworth, Sterling Thompson, Meg Sutherland, and Katy Schmidt. With audience interaction, high-energy performances, and plenty of drama, Death Drop! promises an unforgettable night of mystery and mayhem.
Performances will be held at Play Dance Bar (1519 Church St.) on October 19, 24, 25, 31, and November 1, with a preshow cocktail hour at Tribe starting at 6 p.m. For tickets and information, visit Play Dance Bar and Woven Theatre.
