Oz’s annual Beyond Bourbon is coming up!

OZ Arts Nashville will present its annual fall fundraiser, Beyond Bourbon: A Benefit Bash for OZ Arts on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025. The event returns to the organization’s creative warehouse in West Nashville and will feature tastings from more than two dozen spirit, wine, and beer brands, as well as food and cigars.

The proceeds from the event support OZ Arts’ upcoming season, which will feature artists from six continents, along with Nashville-based performers, on OZ Arts’ stage. “Each year, Beyond Bourbon creates one of the most fun and engaging benefits of the year, bringing together some of Nashville’s arts supporters with an incredible sampling of top-shelf spirits,” said Tim Ozgener, Co-Founder and President of OZ Arts. “We are thrilled to invite the city to join us at OZ’s creative warehouse for this celebratory event.”

Founded in 2013, OZ Arts Nashville is a contemporary performing arts center housed in a renovated former cigar warehouse. Through performances, exhibitions, and community events, OZ Arts focuses on producing and presenting the work of local and visiting artists who reflect diversity, utilizing new artistic forms and technologies in creative ways, and providing opportunities for meaningful engagement with audiences, students and cultural and civic leaders. Its programming includes theater, dance, music, multimedia performance, and visual arts.

Former Chairman & CEO of HCA Healthcare / Tri-Star Health Milton Johnson along with Denice Johnson will serve as honorary co-chairs for the evening. With them will be a diverse group of co-chairs, including Vickie and Howard Mertz, Marie and Charles Sueing, and Angela and Brian Wright. The night also promises lively entertainment and a silent auction.

Guests can look forward to samplings from brands like Nelson’s Green Brier Whiskey, Guidance Whiskey, Belle Meade Bourbon, Castle & Key, and Doc Swinson’s Bourbon. Other than spirits, the evening includes offerings from Music City Brewing, Bravazzi, and sober-friendly options from Killjoy, Nashville’s premier non-alcoholic cocktail brand. For adventurous palates, Crescent Canna will feature THC-infused beverages.

In addition to an array of spirits, wines, and craft beers, Nashville local Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint will provide signature bites. In a nod to the facility’s history as a converted cigar warehouse, guests can also sample products by Ozgener Family Cigars.
